Discussions help you have asynchronous, deep conversations around GitHub issues
Typically you create and assign a GitHub issue to implement a new feature or resolve an existing bug. After an issue is assigned, it's time to discuss it. Async provides you with Discussions that you can have around your issues.Discussions encourage you and your team to have threaded, long-form, focused conversations.Unlike issues, Discussions are transient - you can have as many Discussions around one issue as you need.Discussions in Async, similar to issues, support Markdown. In both Github issues and Async Discussions, you can stay productive by using mentions. Use mentions to autofill team member usernames (@), issues (#i), pull requests (#p), commits (#master#c), discussions (#d), knowledge docs (#k), and todos (#t).
